This paper summarizes the results of researches carried out in S. Giovanni in Triario (North-East plain of Bologna) by piecing together several heterogeneous data coming from old rescue soundings' reports, aerial photo-interpretation and recent investigations consisting of core drillings and surface surveys. Thanks to new inspections on the deposit and the study of a consistent sample of artifacts it is now possible to outline the main cultural and chronological features of this Late Bronze Age settlement.
