The settlement of Solarolo has been investigated recently with excavations and analysis of material culture. The preliminary conclusions identify a settlement made of several and distinct settlement clusters separated by dithces and canals. From 2006 the excavations concern the sector 1, where we can trace the beginning of the settlement dating to the central phase of Middle Bronze Age (BM2). A joint research project will continue the investigation of the region and including the results from the excavation of Solarolo, it will allow to update the definition of cultural aspects.
